Sharing books is fun and enjoyable for everyone. The children in Nursery have all received their very own Treasure Chest of books from "Bookstart". This is a national scheme that encourages families to enjoy sharing books. Parents were invited to come along and join in the celebration with stories and singing. As part of the induction programme for children new to Nursery, we offer parents and carers the opportunity to come and join in a variety of exciting activities with their children. Parents and carers can meet and talk to the staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

 

Stay and Play helps us to develop relationships with families, enables continuity from home to Nursery for the children and helps to promote the value of play in children’s learning. Everyone has lots of fun and no one wants to go home!
