Being a Governor means you are involved with all aspects of school life, from appointing staff to the Health and Safety of everyone in the school. The Governors bring their life skills and expertise into school to give the children the best educational start possible. Each Governor represents an area of school life, for example Finance, Personnel, IT as well as the curriculum subjects, and reports back to the full governing body at each meeting, following visits to school to observe lessons or meet with staff.
It is really exciting being associated with this lovely school. Each project, for example The Healthy Schools Award or The Silver Artsmark Award, is a whole school achievement and we all share in its success. We are very privileged to have a school in such a picturesque location and I know the children benefit from it.
